This will give you an overview of the possibilities and limits of room air and pressure control for laboratories, whether in standard/large laboratories, clean rooms, or animal husbandry – with SCHNEIDER’s product portfolio, we can offer you the right room air control solution.

Which trainings do we offer?
Basic and advanced trainings
We offer basic training courses on current norms and standards for fume cupboards and laboratories equipped with SCHNEIDER Elektronik GmbH products. However, you can also be trained by our expert staff on commissioning the units, handling the PC software, and parameterising the units on site.
The advanced training courses require participation in a corresponding basic training course. The main topic here is the connection of SCHNEIDER components to the existing building management system.
This training focuses on conveying content on current norms and standards for fume cupboards and laboratories equipped with products from SCHNEIDER Elektronik GmbH.
Target groups:
Planning companies, ventilation construction companies, laboratory furniture manufacturers.
Prerequisites:
No prior knowledge necessary.

3 to 8
Venue:
The training of commercial and technical clerks can either take place at the customer’s premises or in the fully equipped training rooms of SCHNEIDER Elektronik in Steinbach (Taunus) near Frankfurt am Main.
If modules 3+4 are also to be trained, then the training will take place at our premises.
Duration:

- Laboratory air balancing (basics Series 500)
- Basics / Product overview Series 700 (600)
- Basics, overview of networking with BMS systems

Training is primarily aimed at service technicians with some prior knowledge.
Target groups:
Service technicians for laboratory furniture manufacturers, service technicians for ventilation systems, service technicians for laboratory equipment.
Prerequisites:
Knowledge of the function of fume cupboards, air volume control and laboratory room control is necessary.
Participants:
3 to 8
Venue:
This training takes place in the fully equipped training rooms of SCHNEIDER Elektronik in Steinbach (Taunus), very close to Frankfurt am Main.
Duration:
1 day

- Commissioning with the PC software PC2500
- FM100 / FM500
- FC500
- LCO500
- VAV500
- Parameterisation of the units on site
Training is also aimed primarily at service technicians with some previous knowledge.
Target groups:
Service technicians for laboratory furniture manufacturers, service technicians for ventilation systems, service technicians for laboratory equipment.
Prerequisites:
Knowledge of the function of fume cupboards, air volume control and laboratory room control as well as attendance of the 1st module of the basic training course are assumed.

Venue:
This training takes place in the fully equipped training rooms of SCHNEIDER Elektronik in Steinbach (Taunus), very close to Frankfurt am Main.
Duration:
1 day

- Basics of PRO7000 software
- Project processing in PRO7000
- Unit commissioning with the PC software PRO7000
- Creating room balances and parameterising the units on site
Training is for advanced learners who have already attended our modules 1 and 3.
Target groups:
Service technicians for laboratory furniture manufacturers, service technicians for ventilation systems, service technicians for laboratory technical systems.
Prerequisites:
Knowledge of the function of fume cupboards, air volume control and laboratory room control as well as attendance of modules 1 and 3 of the basic training course are assumed. Participants should also have basic knowledge of the PRO7000 software.

Venue:
This training takes place in the fully equipped training rooms of SCHNEIDER Elektronik in Steinbach (Taunus), very close to Frankfurt am Main.
Duration:
1.5 to 2 days

- Basics BACnet IP / Modbus TCP / BACnet MS|TP / Modbus RTU – application possibilities, limits
- Specified creation of BACnet data points
- Creation of AKS keys for BACnet IP in PC software PRO7000
- 1:1 data point test
What do the trainings cost?
The training courses are conducted by expert SCHNEIDER employees.
We charge a fee of EUR 250.00 per person and day plus VAT for each training.
This training flat rate includes meals on site, training material as well as an overnight stay incl. breakfast in one of our partner hotels. We would be happy to make the reservation for you. Please contact us.
Where do the training courses take place?
Depending on the type of training, we can hold it either at your premises or in our well-equipped training rooms.
A prerequisite for training your employees at your premises is a training room with a beamer or similar image transmission facility for teaching the theoretical basics. For practical training on the product, a laboratory with installed equipment must be made available free of charge and freely accessible.
For technical commissioning training on our products, experience has shown that instruction at our location in Steinbach (Taunus), close to Frankfurt am Main, is the best option.
